You can work toward a certificate or diploma from a vocational school, trade school or community college; or you can enter into two-year Associate of Science (AS) degree programs offered by some community colleges and alternative healing schools. You may also find four-year Bachelor of Science (BS) degree programs in some massage schools.
Massage courses usually will cover sciences, i.e., anatomy, physiology, pathology, nutrition, health, and hygiene, as well as theory and practice of massage, hydrotherapy, reflexology, and more.
